RAHWAY — Guests of the Rahway Arts District
on April 17 at the Rahway Recreation Center got both
a taste and feeling of spring. Balmy temperatures and
a tasting marketplace full of food and beverages allowed
attendees to enjoy themselves and purchase items of
special interest.
More than 60 local chefs and food producers presented
samples from their kitchens, while more than 150 wines,
beers and spirits were presented for tasting. Witty's
Fine Wines and Liquors strategically stationed tasting
tables throughout the center so that rarely did a guest
have to venture very far to try a new wine in between
samples of food.
NEW ETHNIC FLAVORS
Poised to make new inroads
in the area with its tender chicken, rice and black
beans is Zamba Chicken, currently operating in Westfield,
